Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
