David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. Through its animated movements and intense videos of gossip about celebrities His show has been voted America's top newscast. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is another of his many credits. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The majority of his time-shifted ABC News specials include Breaking Point and Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint - Refugees from America. He's traveled all over the world, report on the news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He's won numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous honours and prizes from the Associated Press.
